IKEA is the perfect place to find furniture and home decor if you are looking for decorating your home on a budget. The store is filled with amazing deals in Scandinavian style that you can bring home that same day (you just need crack the Rubik’s cube of build it). You might feel that some of the items look cheap, basic or plastic when you enter an IKEA store. But you can find items that looks expensive but are still affordable. Items that will lasts for decades and that look expensive. You just need to seek them out and do some research to find them.
To make it a bit easier for you, I have collected 20 items that look expensive, but are still affordable and will last for many decades.
Jute rug
A jute rug is the perfect rug to bring some texture into a home and IKEA has the best jute rug that they have been selling for years. The rug works better in a hallway than a lounge area, since the material is pretty hard and not soft under your feet.
Glass-door cabinetÂ
A perfect glass-door cabinet for a dining room, a library or office. The mix between white and wood makes the cabinet look classic and expensive. Even though it is affordable and budget friendly.
White round table
This white round table has a bit higher of a higher price point than the average price at IKEA, but there is a reason for it. The table is solid and sturdy and can expand to fit 6 people. The style is classic and could almost look like it was over a 100 years old.
Beige bench
This bench or ottoman is a perfect addition to a bedroom or a lounge area. The bench has a storage room inside and its classic look will make it last for years. The bench comes in many different colors and fabrics.
