After many months staying at home, some people have taken to gardening to log off, regain an appreciation for the small things in life and also potentially grow their own food.
So what are the essentials to get started?
- Firstly, something to put your plants in. Either plant pots or a your own garden. It does not necessarily need to be a lot of space, but it definitely helps to have somewhere with good sun.
- Seeds, plants and soil. Perhaps consider starting with an easy plant to take care of that is also suitable to your local climate. For example, one that doesn’t require a lot of watering if you lead a busy lifestyle
- Tools to dig and plant.
- Dress for the occasion. Wear Gardening gloves and a gardering apron. If you are in a garden, wellies, a hat and a protection mat for your knees really help to improve the experience.
Here are some of my favourite gardening accessories from Amazon to get you inspired and started for your own gardening journey.
