Good evening, dear friends. It’s the day before our last day in London before we move and most of our belongings have been packed up in suitcases. I will miss living in London. One of the things I will miss the most is running through the streets and looking at all the amazing houses around Holland Park. They are all so nicely decorated for the Holiday season.
I haven’t yet decorated my own front door, but I have plans for how it will look at Christmas. In the mean time – here are 8 doors decorated for Christmas that I really like and other designs I would like to try one day.

This London door has an arch and for the holiday season they have decorated it with different types of greenery. I really like how wild it looks and the branches spread out across toward the lamps. It’s like you are entering an enchanted forest. I also like that the wreath matches the arch.

This door also has an archway, but this is an attachment to the house. It’s a bit more controlled than the previous one with the branches being of similar length and colour. The decorations of the small trees in the front of the steps makes this also feel like you are entering a winter forest.

A house does not need to be symmetrical to look lovely at the holiday season. The house above is an example of this. It’s not only the door you can decorate. You can decorate the lamp, the windows and the surroundings.

Here’s an example of a door that has more of a toned down and natural look, but still looks lovely. I really like the added fairy lights and the lime green bowls. This makes it look fresh.

The next door is another example where fairy lights have been added to the styling. But in this one it plays the main role. Very simple, but a very good idea. Especially as the days get darker.

It does not always need to be a pine tree that you decorate with at Christmas. This door shows that you can experiment with other types of trees as well. I really like how the focus is on the sides and not just on the door. The decoration is also so high that it draws attention up-wards.
From Fugar
The last door has added some inspiration from a Christmas tree by using some ornaments in front of the door. The ornaments have been hung over the door with some branches and balanced with some placed higher, lower and other decorations leading to the doorway. What a great idea.
This has definitely given me.some inspiration. Has it for you?
